Frame

Framing was the focus of today. We had to create a series of thumbnails that include a butterfly, elephant and myself.

Using reference images that were provided and those that I found from the internet I created many potential ideas, some of which became more refined. However I went forward with an image of my hand holding keys, with the elephant and butterfly being keyring items. I felt the way the hand comes into the frame draws the eyes down the fingers to the keys/ key rings becoming the focus of the piece. I'm really happy with this piece, even though it looks very basic.
