I again cleaned the image up and then began adding copies of the image I had found of an Indian Elephant for Studio Brief 1. By manipulating the size and rotation of the image over several layers I hoped to create a repeated effect on frames of the film reel. The results were okay, not amazing, but I am happy with the effect I have produced.
Following this, using a Wacom tablet, I filled the centre of the film reel with two brown colours before using the blur tool to blend them together. Again I don't feel the results are that amazing but its something for me to work on going forward. Finally I added a background of rats. I chose rats are you'd probably expect to find a rat or two in an old dusty projection room.

So I was onto my last piece, the plane, and wanted to make it as crazy as possible. I inserted a background of Jelly Beans behind the plane as clouds are just plain boring. I then gave the plane metal feel by adding a metallic texture to it. Finally I added a pink layer and lowered its opacity to make the metal visible before burning certain areas of the plane to add a sense of depth to it.

If I had to go back and change things I'd give all the pieces a common visual theme, something which I feel is lacking from my pieces. I would also try and use more tools that I am unsure of. But overall I am reasonably happy with my Photoshop images; they aren't the best pieces of Photoshop work ever produced but they work well as a re-introduction to this software.
